Haylie Jacobson

Strategic Litigation Legal Fellow

Haylie grew up in Los Angeles, CA, Raleigh, NC, and Nashville, TN, but is excited to add New Orleans to the long list of places she has called home. Haylie received her B.S. in Culture and Politics from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service and her J.D. from Harvard Law School. In law school, Haylie was a student attorney with the Criminal Justice Institute, where she represented indigent clients in adult and juvenile courts in Boston.

Haylie joined LCCR in August 2020 as a Harvard Public Service Venture Fund Redstone Fellow. At LCCR, Haylie is working to develop a Strategic Litigation project, which will expand upon LCCR’s holistic and inclusive approach to juvenile defense by advocating for systemic change through litigation.
