As LCCR’s Communications Director, Renée develops media campaigns for the organization’s local and statewide policy initiatives. Her work includes crafting values-based messaging, producing print and visual materials, managing LCCR’s online presence, and generating earned media. Among other campaigns, Renée has handled public relations for LCCR’s successful efforts to raise the age of criminal jurisdiction in Louisiana, and to secure a commitment from New Orleans’ leaders to remove all children from the city’s adult jail. Renée earned her B.A. in Africana Studies from Barnard College of Columbia University where she was a Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellow.
