Samantha Lopez is a Staff Attorney on the Children’s Defense Team. She is a New Orleans native and proud graduate of John Ehret High School. Samantha earned a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Southern University in New Orleans. After graduating from SUNO she went on to obtain her Juris Doctorate at Southern University’s Law Center. Samantha is a member of The Greater New Orleans Louis A. Martinet Legal Society, Young Lawyers Division of the Louisiana Bar Association, and the Lawyer Leader Mentorship Program at Southern University Law Center. She is excited to work at LCCR and be a pillar to the underserved members of her community.
