Youth Advocate

Father, youth mentor, and LCCR Youth Advocate, Curry believes youth justice advocacy is important because we must have a way to motivate kids to change for the better. This type of work simply put is just “something he likes to do.”

He has been a NORD coach for the last several years. This is exemplified in his approach to his work as a youth advocate: “I find people’s strengths and utilize them in a positive way.” The Central City native is a great team player and possesses a Bachelors in Addictive Behavior and Prevention Counseling as well as in Masters Criminal Justice from [insert school]. He is nearing completion of his master’s in social work.
