As public defenders, we stand alongside young people at every stage of the juvenile justice system. We protect their rights and advocate for outcomes that keep youth connected to their families, schools, and communities. Our goal is simple: to ensure every young person is treated with dignity, their voice is heard, and they have the opportunity to return home and thrive.

We advocate for policies that protect children’s rights and create a more just and effective juvenile justice system. We use what we learn from our work with young people and families to challenge harmful practices and advance reforms that prioritize rehabilitation, family connection, and community support.
