Kelsey Jenkins

JLWOP Staff Attorney

Born and raised in rural Louisiana, Kelsey earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a concentration in Criminology in the first class of the 3+3 Pre-Law Program at LSU, then earned her Juris Doctor from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center. While in law school, she took advantage of many practical experiences related to criminal defense, including the Parole & Re-entry Clinic, where her passion for JLWOP work began and which led to further work in the pardon and parole field. After graduation, Kelsey clerked for the Honorable Valerie Gotch Garrett at the 15th JDC before joining LCCR as a Staff Attorney.
