Monique Duplessis is a New Orleans native who has worked in the legal field for over 5 years. Having briefly left New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, Monique remained committed to restoring the city she loves so much. Her passion for building a better and more just New Orleans led her to criminal investigation work. It is her belief that reducing juvenile incarceration and system involvement is paramount to shaping our city’s future. Monique is a graduate of the University of New Orleans, where she obtained a BS in Psychology.
