Our lawyers, social workers, and policy advocates work tirelessly in support of our kids all year long. But on this night, we celebrate.
Join us on Thursday, March 24th at our annual benefit event: the Celebration for Children’s Rights.
We’ll be recognizing our successes from the past year, when we fought for 474 Orleans Parish kids in court, expanded our reach in East Baton Rouge through the growth of our social work team there, and helped eliminate the fees courts and prisons can charge families with children in Louisiana’s juvenile legal system.
We’ll also be presenting our annual Pascal Calogero Champion of Justice Award to Troi Bechet, the Founder & CEO of the Center for Restorative Approaches, for her more than ten years of leading New Orleans in its use of restorative approaches as a means for achieving accountability and repairing harm for those impacted by conflict and crime.

This cocktail reception fundraiser will be held on Thursday, March 24 (6-8pm) at “The Building”, a beautiful art space located at 1427 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd. (just across from the Jazz Market). Business or business casual attire preferred.
For the safety of our guests and venue staff, proof of COVID-19 vaccination will be required to attend.
While there is no minimum cost, a donation is required to attend.
