Miles Channing Thomas is the owner of Miles Thomas Law, LLC, a firm he began on December 1, 2020, continuing his zealous advocacy for his clients in both litigation and transactional matters. Mr. Thomas’ practice serves the Gulf South region, where he specializes in admiralty and maritime law while continuing to maintain a general litigation practice. Mr. Thomas received his undergraduate degree from Clemson University. After leaving Clemson, Mr. Thomas received his Juris Doctorate in Law from the University of Tennessee. He is admitted to practice law in the state and federal courts of Louisiana and South Carolina. Mr. Thomas is a member of the New Orleans, Louisiana State, South Carolina state and American Bar Associations.
Along with his wife, Rebecca, and his two children, Sophie and Jackson, Mr. Thomas is an avid supporter of non-profits, especially those working to better the lives of children in the Greater New Orleans area. Mr. Thomas previously served on the board of Clover, including as its president, and is currently serving on the advisory committee to the Clover board.
