Alyssa Medrano

Office Assistant

Alyssa Medrano is a junior at Xavier University of Louisiana, where she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Psychological Sciences with a minor in Sociology. She brings a strong commitment to youth advocacy and community care to her work at the Louisiana Center for Children’s Rights.

A former teacher’s assistant, Alyssa is passionate about uplifting young people and motivating meaningful change in New Orleans. She believes that when children are consistently supported, nurtured, and believed in, they can grow into futures far greater than they imagine for themselves.

Alyssa aspires to become a clinical psychologist working with children with special needs, continuing her commitment to pouring back into the well-being, confidence, and potential of young people. She is driven by the belief that investing in children today helps build a brighter, more just future for our community.
