Briana is deeply passionate and dedicated to working with youth and improving community outcomes. She firmly believes that when adults invest in young people, they, in turn, contribute positively back to our society. The licensed clinical social worker is motivated each day to support children in pursuing their expressed interests and achieving their personal goals. After witnessing the speed as well as observing the challenges students experienced within the legal system, the Baton Rouge resident felt like she was led to LCCR and its advocacy because “many children and families lack the necessary knowledge and resources to navigate the complexities of the justice system.” Due to the organization’s efforts, she is able have a direct impact on the lives of the youth she serves and help change their future. Briana received her Bachelor’s in Sociology and Master’s in Social Work from Louisiana State University.
