Since moving to New Orleans in 2015 from California, Lauren graduated from Loyola University with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and a Juris Doctorate. Lauren has experience working in adolescent mental health facilities and is trained in trauma informed therapies and harm reduction. She has worked in social justice law firms throughout the city to facilitate progressive change with direct representation, legislative advocacy, and restorative justice. Lauren’s lifelong career aspirations are to protect communities from systemic poverty, cultural eradication, and mass incarceration.
