Mr. Hill joined LCCR in 2014 as the organization’s first-ever Development Director. During his time, he has helped triple LCCR’s budget and staff size. He greatly diversified the organization’s revenue streams by adding several sizeable new multi-year grants (both federal and foundation), securing nearly two dozen new family foundation partnerships, and more than quadrupling LCCR’s individual and corporate support. Mr. Hill also created LCCR’s popular Celebration for Children’s Rights event, which has grown from $30,000 in revenue to just over $100,000 as of 2024. Most recently, Mr. Hill led LCCR’s efforts to successfully secure a $1 million grant from MacKenzie Scott’s foundation, Yield Giving. Prior to LCCR, Mr. Hill served six years in the fundraising office at the District of Columbia poverty relief nonprofit, Bread for the City—ending his time there in the Associate Director of Development role. At Bread, Mr. Hill helped secure several new six-figure commitments, federal funds for the creation of an urban orchard, and Federally Qualified Health Center Look-Alike certification, which ultimately paved the way for full FQHC status. Mr. Hill holds a B.A. in English from George Mason University.
