Sam Marrone was born and raised in Delray Beach, Florida and moved to New Orleans in 2007. She is a staff attorney on the Children’s Defense Team. Sam is a graduate of Tulane University and Tulane Law school. She graduated with a joint-Juris Doctor and Master of Science from Tulane Law School and Tulane’s Payson Center for International Development. After practicing as a corporate attorney for 6 years, she decided to switch careers. Sam is passionately dedicated to abolishing the criminal “justice” system and believes that all children deserve freedom and to have the tools they need to thrive.
