Christin Wagner

Investigator

Christin is originally from Atlanta but has called New Orleans home since 2012.
She earned a BA in Social Sciences from Tulane University and worked as a
paralegal where she gained experience in civil, criminal, personal injury, and mass
tort litigation. Since the completion of her AmeriCorps program in the early
2000’s, she has maintained a dedication to serving communities by advocating for
people directly impacted by the criminal punishment system. In May of 2021
alongside her collaborators, Christin helped conceive Ngombo Café & Sanctuary, a
project aimed at providing mentorship programs for youth and employment
opportunities for formerly incarcerated individuals. She is an active volunteer with
New Orleans-based organizations aimed at legal system reform and prison
abolition including Court Watch NOLA and Solitary Gardens. Her dedication to
ending carceral punishment strongly informs her work as a staff investigator at
LCCR.
